Firearm Safety Certificate
Individuals need to obtain a Firearm Safety Certificate in order to purchase a gun in the state of California. Applicants take a 30 question objective test about firearm safety given by an individual certified by the state. You may miss up to 7 questions to pass. Should you not pass, your fee will allow you to retake the test after 24 hours of your initial attempt. Once passed, you will receive a FSC (Firearm Safety Certificate). $25
You have the option to add this to an existing training appointment (see “add ons” in the registration area) or to take it separately if you are a member of Lemoore Sportsman’s Club. Non-members who would like to take this as a stand alone, may email us for an appointment.
