NOTE: There are other companies. These are the companies that we have had either dealt with personally or have friends who use them. Do your research (Google “firearms insurance,” read the reviews and buy what meets your needs).
What to say to an officer after a self-defensive shooting
-Give your name and vital information (evidence (especially any weapons your assailant had), witnesses, location). Request medical care. Then…
“I assert my right to silence and counsel. I want to speak to my lawyer before we go any further.”
-Call your firearm insurance company or attorney.
-Do not talk about the incident to ANYONE without speaking to your attorney.
-Remember to be respectful.
Holsters:
Crossbreed (we have used the Super Tuck & Mini Tuck. Great return policy)
Alien Gear (I was impressed with versatility of the Shape shift core carry pack. Figuring out how to put it together was kind of frustrating, but looking up YouTube made that easier. I also liked the return policy as it did not personally work for me) Alien Gear holsters
Comp-tac (I have used International Holster/Belt, Paddle, Drop Offset Holster for range training) Comp-Tac holsters
Of course, there are many companies. These are the ones that impressed me. If you come across something remarkable, be sure to pass that information on to me!
